Maintaining your store and having a robust marketing tool are part of the process of selling direct.

Shipping rates change, vendors come and go. Oh yeah, you’ll probably want to add new products. 

How much maintenance you need depends on a lot of factors.  We’ll discuss your needs as well as your desire/ability to handle (as much or as little) of the day-to-day maintenance tasks.


We have a variety of options to help you get the most out of your store without overwhelming you with more work.

MAINTENANCE & CONSULTING SERVICES

MAINTENANCE

General Maintenance

General maintenance includes just about everything you need to keep your tools and services up and running on a day-to-day basis.  Things like:


Updating home page with new products

Design/theme changes & updates

Updating apps, channels, & templates

Changing navigation

Updating flows, segments & images

Updating shipping profiles

Adding new tax regions

Setting up sales, promotions & coupons

Creating new email lists or segments

Setting up new automations or flows

A LA CART SERVICES

Larger/Individual projects

Some things are larger in scope and don’t fit under general maintenance.  We still bill at the same rate, but we’ll provide a “not to exceed” quote for these services. Some examples include:

Launching physical products for the first time

Launching a new pen name within the store

Installing & configuring specialized apps

Launching new lines of products or services

Adding a new POD vendor

Creating customer segments and flows

Launching new markets or regions

Moving your email list to a new system/tool

Selling in person at a store or fairs

CONSULTING

General Consulting Time

Have a technology question that doesn’t fit into the normal scheme of things?  Have a technology question outside of your Shopify store? We’re happy to schedule a zoom call to chat (M-F during regular business hours).  A 1-hour minimum is required for consulting calls

We have decades of experience with technology, and chances are we at least have an opinion on your topic. 
Before we schedule a call, you can email us your question/topic. We'll have a few questions for you to determine if we have expertise in the area of your question. 

If we just can’t help you, we’ll tell you up front.  We partner with multiple other companies to help where our services might not be a fit.

RATES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

HOURLY SUPPORT & MAINTENANCE RATE

General hourly rate: $65/hour

Maintenance, a la carte services, projects and consulting are billed as an hourly charge with a 15 minute minimum.


General working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm (US Central time)


(we recommend saving small things to send in batches).

Emergency/Priority Maintenance

Priority (emergency) maintenance is billed at $80/hour with a $40 minimum charge.

STANDARD SUBSCRIPTION

$110/month - recurring subscription

A recurring subscription for two hours of services each month.  Hours can be use for any Iconic Elements maintenance or consulting services. 

4 hours per month of time

Discounted rate of $55/hour for any subsequent hours while subscription is active

Time rolls over month to month and never expires.
